Our Story: From Chaos to Community
Fleamela wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born on the bustling grounds of a weekend flea market right here in Bengaluru.
As avid attendees and friends to many vendors and organizers, we were constantly inspired by the incredible talent within our community. We saw handcrafted goods that told stories, curated collections that brought joy, and pop-up food stalls that were nothing short of culinary genius.
But behind this magic, we saw chaos.
We saw our vendor friends struggling to discover the right markets, relying on scattered WhatsApp groups, word-of-mouth referrals, and hunting through social media posts just to find opportunities. We saw organizers, armed with passion and spreadsheets, overwhelmed by a flood of emails, chasing payments, and struggling to find unique vendors. We saw beautiful venues—society clubhouses, mall atriums, and quiet cafes—sitting empty, their potential for community and commerce untapped.
The dots were there, but they weren't connected. We knew there had to be a better way.
